INTEGRATED POLICY

Hana Latin America, once incorporated into the HT Micron Management System and its facilities, adopts its Integrated Quality and Environmental Management System Policy, as well as sharing the same Values and acting in an integrated manner in its Business, for the fulfillment of the Mission and the achievement of its Vision. HT Micron Policy is implemented in accordance with the principles described in standards NBR 9001:2015 and NBR 14001:2015, and is communicated to all interested parties, as follows:

Hana Micron Brazil is committed to meeting legal and other applicable requirements and to satisfying its customers and other interested parties, acting ethically and responsibly. It seeks to continually improve the performance of its Integrated Management System, aiming for the excellence and profitability of its operation and the quality of its products, valuing the involvement and competence of its employees and suppliers. It is committed to preventing and eliminating risks and to ESG practices, such as protecting the environment, not using hazardous substances and supporting social responsibility initiatives, ensuring a safe and healthy environment.

QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (QMS)

The QMS is ISO 9001 certified to offer the market products and services at levels compatible with customer and market demands.

MANAGEMENT

Through a robust Management System, HT Micron strives to ensure that the requirements set by its customers are satisfactorily met. Based on its strategic planning, it uses management methods and tools aligned with current international models and periodically documented and audited standards to ensure process quality and continuous improvement in results.

ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (EMS)

Aware of the importance of environmental preservation, HT Micron has an ISO 14001 certified environmental management system.

QMS / EMS SCOPE

The company is located in the municipality of São Leopoldo RS and the integrated management system is applicable in the production of semiconductor encapsulation and testing for the electro-electronic market.

HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCES MANAGEMENT

The hazardous substances management system at HT Micron is aligned with semiconductors industry trend in control the use of a several substances considered hazardous to environmental and human health. This management is performed through the prohibition, control and monitoring of these substances and follows standard, directives and customers requirements. The hazardous substances management system covers the HT Micron’s internal processes (materials registration, material incoming inspection, final products inspection, final products analysis by external laboratories), according to MN002 – Hazardous Substances Management System Manual, being to an interface area with customers and suppliers.

CMRT

The Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT) is a free, standardized reporting template developed by the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI) that facilitates the transfer of information through the supply chain regarding mineral country of origin and the smelters and refiners being utilized (Tantalum, Tin, Tungsten e Gold).

MINERALS CONFLICT (3TG)

HT Micron, through the polices and procedures, requires that its supply chain to commit to promoting the rational use of Tantalum, Tin, Tungsten and Gold in the products supplied by its and this supply chain does not finance, directly or indirectly, or benefits armed groups that are responsible to human abuse in the Democratic Republic of Congo and its neighbors.
Therefore, HT Micron’s suppliers should exercise due diligence, preferably using the CMRT (Conflict Minerals Reporting Template – RMI) in the 3TG supply chain and make their appropriate due diligence measures available to customers upon request.

EMRT

The Extended Minerals Reporting Template (EMRT) is a free, standardized reporting template developed by the Responsible Minerals Initiative to identify pinch points and collect due diligence information in the cobalt and mica supply chains.

REVERSE LOGISTICS

In line with its environmental awareness, HT Micron has established a Reverse Logistics System, which consists of customers returning discarded and damaged products that can no longer be used to be properly disposed of in a safe place with the lowest risk of environmental aggression possible.
